Hallo zusammen,

heute habe ich die Nachricht erhalten, dass unsere 8 Wochen Beobachtung massereicher Sterne inkl. WR 140 bewilligt wurden. Das ist natürlich höchst erfreulich.

Wenn noch jemand Interesse hat, mit einzusteigen: Das geht noch. Wir sind aktuell 14 Beobachter. Diese Kampagne wird u.a. begleitet von Beobachtungen von SPITZER, XMM, CHANDRA (alle im Orbit), Dominion Observatory (Kanada) und Ritter Observatory (USA). Weitere haben zugesagt und ein Antrag am 2m-OHP ist eingereicht.

Hi all!

Berthold and Lothar, our first MONS team will be back home today. According to their spectra obtained after very hard instrumental set-up work they have been extremly successful. The spectral output matches theoretical calculations to a very high degree. Considering all technical penalties and difficulties at a high altitude this has been a perfect job. Congratulations and welcome back home!

The second team, Filipe and Thomas, took over and can now run behind the targets. Good luck and have fun!
